L-H gas type conversion
Due to the decline in low-calorific gas (L-gas) production in Germany and the Netherlands, the natural gas supply structure in the north and west of Germany will change by the year 2030. In a step-by-step process the gas supply of the affected area is converted from low-calorific to high-calorific gas (H-gas).
Services
We are certified according to DVGW G 676-B1 Group B & C and offer the following services:
- Quality control of survey and adaptation measures for gas appliances in accordance with DVGW G 695 (M) during the market area conversion
- Advising industrial customers on organization and implementation
- Advising network operators in the course of planning
- Maintenance of the DVGW gas appliance database
Our fitters are qualified in accordance with the DVGW’s “Basic module for gas appliance adaptation for L-H market area conversion” and “Specialist for gas appliance adaptation for L-H market area conversion” as well as additional training from well-known appliance manufacturers. Even before 1995, we were already working for 47 different clients (energy suppliers and industrial companies) on the conversion from town gas to natural gas. We carried out project management and quality assurance for domestic and commercial installations.
