Further training courses

We organise further training events in the gas sector on behalf of the DVGW e.V. vocational training organisation. Training dates can be found on the DVGW e.V. website.

In consultation and coordination with the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for Energy, Textiles, Electrical and Media Products (BG ETEM), we organise seminars on topics such as BGR 500 (DGUV Rule 100-500) Chapter 2.31 ‘Working on gas pipes’. We also offer practical exercises on the subject of ‘Extinguishing gas fires’. Detailed information on this can be found on the BG ETEM website.

The initiative group ‘Sicherheitspartnerschaft Tiefbau e.V.’ was founded in 2004 and includes regional gas supply companies from Berlin, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt as well as us among its founding members. One of the main aims of the organisation is to prevent damage by providing participants with practical training. The training content is based on DVGW Code of Practice GW 129 ‘Safety during construction work in the vicinity of supply lines – training plan for contractors, supervisors and planners’.

Sicherheitspartnerschaft Tiefbau e.V. supports the implementation of all objectives of the nationwide working group of pipeline operators for damage minimisation in construction (BALSibau). Since 9 January 2019, we have been a member of the Verband Sicherer Tiefbau e.V. (VST), through which we continue to pursue our damage prevention goals.
Training events are coordinated by the Rohrleitungsbauverband and DVGW Berufliche Bildung.
