Combustion systems for solid fuels are becoming increasingly popular. Legislation requires manufacturers of these products to undergo initial type testing prior to market launch and to comply with eco design requirements.   • Pellet burners according to EN 15270
  • Decorative fireplaces for liquid fuels according to EN 16647
  • Barbecues for solid fuels in accordance with EN 1860-1
  • Boilers according to EN 303-5
  • Emission test methods according to CEN/TS 15883 respective DIN SPEC 1101

• Testing according to national product standards
  • DIN SPEC 33999 or approval principles of the DIBt for the testing and assessment of downstream particle separators and/or catalytic converters
  • DIN/TS 18843-1 for the testing and assessment of automatic combustion air devices on combustion systems
  • DIN 18897-1 or DIBt approval principles for the testing and assessment of room-sealed combustion systems for solid fuels
  • Storage coal water heaters according to DIN 18889

• Testing and assessments as part of the federal funding program for efficient buildings (BEG) to confirm the technical minimum requirements (TMA) for BAFA funding
